From Sydney:
By far the easiest way to reach the Mountains is by train. Trains leave
from Sydney's Central Terminal hourly. After a two hour ride, with great
views of the National Park, disembark at Katoomba station. From there, the
Inn is a 10 minute walk, or a taxi ride, down the Great Western Highway.
We're opposite Katoomba Hospital.
By car, travel west along the M4 motorway to the foot of
the Mountains. Here the road turns into the Great Western Highway. Drive
straight up the highway until you come into Katoomba. The Inn is at the
first set of traffic lights, opposite the hospital.
From the West:
Katoomba is on the main Western railway line from Sydney to Dubbo, and eventually
Perth. For Country Link and XPT services bookings are essential.
Driving from the West aim for the town of Lithgow and then
climb up the 'hill' to Mount Victoria, the highest village in the Blue Mountains.
From there it's a 20 minute drive to Katoomba. Go through Katoomba until
you see our sign on the right hand side - opposite the hospital.
